Financial Contribution

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a donor and volunteer supported program and is able to offer quality services at virtually no cost to the volunteer or the families because of funding through private contributions, donations, foundations, United Way agencies and fundraisers such as Bowl For Kids' Sake. All support helps bring a positive role model to children who need and want one.

Levels of Giving

There are various ways to become a valued donor to the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Remember, any level of giving can come from you, a group of friends, co-workers or a place of business.

Leadership Circle $5,000 - Become a member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Leadership Circle! You will enjoy many benefits, secure in the knowledge that you are positively impacting the lives of children throughout the community. Members will receive invitations to events, periodic updates and the satisfaction of seeing their donations work.

Classroom Sponsor $2,000 - Funds five School Based matches for a whole year.

Match Support $1,200 - Funds one Community Based match for a whole year.

Role Model $500 - Helps fund one Community Based match for a whole year.

Friend $250 - Helps to fund field trips and group activities.

Advocate $150 - Helps to fund programs to increase mentoring resources to students in the community schools and continued support of multiculturalism in the community.

Education & Enrichment $100 - Helps to fund various workshops and activities for participants in the program. Workshops will include the merits of the DeKalb County KEYS - 40 Developmental Assets, a county-wide initiative.
